Winter School
on Topological Data Analysis
February 3-8, 2020
Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok
The program of the conference involves a course of lectures on geometry and topology, their applications to certain aspects of robotics and in the development of pharmaceutical drugs. Lectures on topological data analysis are also planned.

Invited Lecturers
Massimo Ferri
Full professor of Geometry at the Engineering Faculty,
Bologna University
Massimo Ferri is a member of the Department of Mathematics and of the Advanced Research Center for Electronic Systems "E. De Castro". An expert in the field of geometry and topology, namely the application of geometry and topology to some aspects of robotics, in particular to computer vision.
Kelin Xia
Assistant Professor, School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences,
Nanyang Technological University
Kelin Xia's research work focuses on using differential geometry, algebraic topology, and statistical learning to study biomolecular structure, flexibility, dynamics, and functions. Recently, he has been interested in analysis of topological data (TDA), model machine learning / deep learning based on topology and their application in drug development.
